A young Maasai boy, Peter, once saw a lion wounded by poachers. He vowed to protect wildlife, but poverty threatened his dreams. With no money for school, he worked as a herder while studying at night.

One day, a ranger saw his dedication and helped him join a conservation program. Years later, Njoroge patrolled the land, no longer a herder—but a guardian of lions.
